Recommendation: It works best on log footage so consider applying a conversion log to a REC 709 file. I found for Davinci, it's best to have your white balance or correction on your first node and apply the LUT to a node after.

Follow these steps;

• Convert footage to log.
• Apply LUT .
• Use white balance to correct your whites. 
• Raise final exposure to what works for your scenario.
